AKM AK4493EQ DAC Chip

The extremely powerful flagship DAC and the amplifier have once again set a new bar in performance. The FiiO Q5s employs a dup DAC design, with the left and right channels each quipped with a next-generation AKM AK4493EQ DAC chip - with its lower distortion, higher signal-to-noise ratio, and greatly more refined mids and highs.

XMOS XUF208 USB Decoding 

In order to further improve sound quality, the FiiO Q5s utilizes the XMOS XUF208 USB decoding chip paired with a precise clock matching management system, allowing for support up to 768kHz/32 bit PCM and hardware-decoded native DSD - so you can be sure of excellent sound no matter what format your music is in.

Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth Chip

FiiO Q5s is equipped with the flagship Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip, support
Bluetooth 5.0 ensures a stable, high-quality Bluetooth audio experience. Various Bluetooth audio codec support—such as the AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX low latency, aptX HD, LDAC, and HWA.

Audiophile-grade Power Supply

A well-designed power supply goes a long way towards achieving great sound. Alongside the numerous low-noise LDO regulators, the analog, digital, low-pass, and amplification sections of the
Q5s are independently powered and isolated from each other - ensuring your music comes through as cleanly and purely as possible.

High-Performance OPAMP

The dual AK4493EQ DACs work together with six carefully-implemented op-amps to form a
truly balanced audio design. 4-channel analog volume control, Panasonic film capacitors.

3.5mm,2.5mm, and 4.4mm Outputs

FiiO Q5s continues to use the interchangeable AMP module design of its predecessor and is fully compatible with all FiiO amp modules released thus far. The new standard amp balanced amp module
AM3E is versatile, with 3.5mm single-ended as well as both 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced outputs. FiiO Q5s supports line-out output.

Flagship Decoding

With the upgrade to the XMOS clock management system, the Q5s has unparalleled decoding capabilities over USB, SPDIF, and Bluetooth. USB supports up to 768kHz/32bit and native hardware-decoded DSD; SPDIF supports up to 192kHz/24 bit, and Bluetooth supports up to 96kHz/24 bit (under LDAC).
