6.39" FHD+ AMOLED Screen

Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is equipped 6.39-inches Samsung AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio Corning Gorilla Glass 6th generation. The screen delivers FHD+ resolution of 2340x 1080 pixels, which offers an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 90.7 percent. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G has 103.8 percent NTSC super wide color gamut and up to 600 nits of brightness.

There are also a bunch of optimizations for different usage scenarios such as night mode and game mode. Extra features include a customisable Always-on display, a system-wide Dark mode that can reduce power usage by up to 83%, Sunlight mode 2.0 and Reading mode 2.0. The second-generation "sun-screen" has better color reproduction and brightness under strong light. Xiaomi has also upgraded eye protection mode on Mi 9 Pro 5G to "256 steps" with smooth transitions.

48MP+12MP+16MP Rear Cameras and A 20MP Front Camera

Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G packs tripe rear cameras, 48MP Sony IMX 586 + 12MP Telephoto + 16MP Wide-Angle, all hidden behind tough Sapphire glass, which is scratch resistant. 

The 48MP Sony IMX586 1/2"-sensor is with 0.8µm pixels, f/1.75-aperture. This camera increases the pixel size to 1.6um at 12Mp, with its '4-in-1 Super Pixels' allowing in four times more light than a single pixel.

The 12MP telephoto sensor is Samsung S5K3M5 with 1.0µm pixels, f/2.2-aperture and 50mm-equivalent focal length. The 16M ultra-wideangle Sony IMX481 sensor supports a 117º field of view and 4cm macro photography. Both have 1.0um pixels and an f/2.2 aperture. Super slow-mo at 960fps is also supported.

The 20-megapixel Sony selfie camera is placed inside the notch. Apart from 3D facial recognition, it offers features like 3D Beauty, 10 kinds of AI scene detection, mirror function and HDR.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is packed with 4000mAh battery that supports for 40W wired charging which takes 48 minutes to fully charge the device by using the in-box 45W charger. The Mi 9 Pro 5G is equipped with 30W fast wireless charging certified for safety by Germany Rhine TUV. It also supports 10W reverse charging.

5th Generation In-Display Fingerprint Scanner

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G has an in-display fingerprint reader that enables users to unlock the phone simply touch and scan fingerprint sensor that is embedded in its display.

The Mi 9 Pro 5G is equipped with vapor chamber liquid cooling technology along with graphite-based heat dissipation tech that can considerably reduce the internal temperature by up to 10.2 degrees.
