Xiaomi’s New 80W Wireless Charging Allows a 4,000mAh Battery to Fully Charge In Just 19 Minutes

    Xiaomi has consistently brought some crazy fast charging solutions to its smartphones. The company has gone up to 50W for the wireless fast charging technology that was able to juice up a regular device up to 100% in less than an hour. Today, Xiaomi has announced an even faster a whopping 80W wireless fast charging solution which takes the wireless charging game to the next level.

    In a promo shared by the company, the 80W wireless charger was able to juice up a handset to full 100% in just 19 minutes. The particular device in the promo has a 4,000mAh battery and it went to the 50% level in just 8 minutes. It is bonkers how wireless charging has leaped to such crazy charging speeds.

    The company already has the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra that was launched a few months back with 50W wireless fast charging. We expect upcoming Xiaomi Mi flagships to get the new 80W wireless fast charging support.

    With the announcement of 80W wireless fast charging, Xiaomi has set a new record and we can expect other brands to leap up soon. With that said, Xiaomi has also set up a milestone with its 120W wired fast charging solution. Currently, the Mi 10 Ultra is the only device supporting it and the 4,500mAh battery in the handset gets from 0% to 100% in under 23 minutes.
