Xiaomi Mi Band 5 has been a part of various leaks in the past, its display leak was surfaced, some features were tipped, just last week the wearable’s launch date was suggested, and today, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the unveiling date of the Band 5.
Xiaomi on its Weibo handle has shared a poster revealing the Mi Band 5 wearable’s launch date to be June 11 in its home town China. It was no surprise as we already saw an invite on some Chinese retail websites that suggested June 11 to be the launch date. Now, the leak affirms it and also showcases the actual design of the band.
As expected, we see Band 5 looks similar to the one in the previous leaks. It has a large display and 2.5D curved glass. Additionally, we also get to see some of its features. The images confirm some sports modes such as Yoga, Rowing Machine, and Skipping. It also reveals four color variants of the band – Black, Yellow, Red/Orange, and Teal finish.
The Band 5 will also come with SpO2 sensor, Pressure monitoring, and NFC support for one-tap payments. The launch will first occur in its home town China and we can expect the global launch after a couple of weeks.
