Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite Review: An Inexpensive Smartwatch With 1.4-Inch TFT Color Touch Display, 11 Workout Modes, Professional Health Monitoring And More

    Last month we saw Xiaomi unveiling the first smartwatch under the now independent Redmi brand. Dubbed as Redmi Watch, the recently unveiled smartwatch was slated to hit the store shelves as the Mi Watch Lite in some markets, and GizmoChina exclusively revealed that the watch would be made available to the public on Dec. 10.

    The Mi Watch Lite smartwatch went official for the global market and is currently available for a lowered price of only $58.90 on Giztop. This is a significant reduction in the watch’s original asking price of $69.90. Aside from carrying a reasonable price tag, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite boasts an impressive array of features and top-notch specifications.

    Sporting a square-shaped dial, the Mi Watch Lite is quite advantageous in terms of sports and health monitoring. Moreover, it is loaded with practical functions including,  high-precision six-axis sensors. On top of that, it supports seven sports modes, and is 50m waterproof, and supports sleep monitoring and 30-day heart rate tracking, along with standing monitoring, breathing training, and NFC, and Xiao Ai.

    Although not flagship level, the Mi Watch Lite is distinctive in appearance. It adopts a square design, coupled with a replaceable strap, giving it a classic appearance design of a smartwatch. The watch weighs in at only 35 grams, and the watch body weighs only 22 grams, while the expression is 13 grams. The Mi Watch Lite comes in simple packaging.

    The watch sports a 1.4-inch high-definition display with 2.5D glass on top and 323 PPI. Aside from the all-weather display function, there is no need to raise your hand to brighten the screen. The dial can show the current time, day of the week, and exercise steps anytime and anywhere, which is quite a nifty feature.

    Compared to a round-shaped watch with a similar diameter, the square shaped Mi Watch Lite offers a larger display area and can display more Chinese characters both horizontally and vertically. The square display of the watch appears to be very slim from the side, and the body does not house too many buttons. There is only one button that performs tasks such as turning the watch on/off, lighting up the display, and returning to the main screen.

    The Mi Watch Lite is available in three highly appealing color options including elegant black, ivory white, and ink blue. It adopts a Nordic minimalist design and introduces the Morandi color system, especially the strap. There are two more vibrant colors including pine needle green and Cherry pink.

    The watch is extremely comfortable to wear because it is very light and the strap is made using high-quality TPU skin-friendly material that wraps around your wrist perfectly without any sort of discomfort. The watch can monitor heart range changes 24 hours every day, and even recall the resting heart rate of the past 30 days, allowing the wearer to identify long term long-term changes in health problems.

    The Mi Watch Lite offers over 120 dials, classic and simple, cool IP, Independent design dials, classic and simple, cool IP, Independent design. Once you install your favorite dial, you can select and switch directly on the watch. Moreover, you can download the Xiaomi Wearable APP on the mobile phone and use it together.

It also has a built-in NFC chip that transforms your watch into a bus card and door card in seconds.
