Xiaomi had previously confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick in an overseas launch event, and even showed us its appearance. Now, the packaging and real machine image of this product have accidentally been exposed on AliExpress.
From what we can gather, the Mi TV Stick looks similar to other TV sticks like Amazon’s Fire Stick. The package includes a remote control, a power cable, a charging head, and instructions. It runs on Android TV, and the remote control is basically the same as the Xiaomi TV Box.
It will apparently feature a 2GHz quad-core A53 processor with a Mali-450 GPU, along with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi, and for connectivity it includes an HDMI port and a micro-USB port.
It supports Dolby and DTS dual decoding. In addition, there will also be a 4K version, equipped with the Jingchen S905Y2 quad-core processor (Mali-G31 MP2 GPU), paired with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and a USB Type-C port instead of a micro-USB.
