For weeks now, the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has been hyped up by news outlets and leaks, and now it’s been officially confirmed. Xiaomi Germany have given us our first look at the upcoming streaming stick during their Redmi Note 9 series launch event
Interestingly, this reveal came not too long after the device was listed on Gearbest. The listing claims that the Mi TV Stick will run on Android 9 and will have an $80 price tag, though it’s not an official listing so take it with a pinch of salt.
From the images, we can see that the Mi TV Stick’s design is pretty simple and clean, just like the designs of Xiaomi’s Mi TV Boxes. The remote on the other hand is the exact same as the ones that come with Mi Box S. Both the stick and the remote control will come in black

The Mi TV Stick specifications are likely to be the same as Mi TV Box 4K set-top box. This means that the stick could be powered by a quad-core 64-bit Cortex A53 CPU, coupled with a Mali-450 GPU, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and 8GB of eMMC storage.
If this also extends to the device’s features, we might see 4K HDR support, built-in Chromecast support for screen-mirroring, and dual-band Wi-Fi support. It is also tipped to feature a USB port, Bluetooth, and a MicroSD card slot.
For now there’s not much else to go off of, though we expect Xiaomi to make more details about it available in the coming days. For more news on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi TV Stick, stay tuned on Giztop.com.
