Xiaomi this week launched the all-new Mi 10S smartphone in the Chinese market. The Xiaomi Mi 10S is an addition to the Mi 10 line-up of smartphones with a fresh chipset and a few tweaks in the specs sheet.

The Xiaomi Mi 10S features a unique design as compared to the original Mi 10 smartphone. It sports a large 6.67-inch punch-hole display with an FHD+(1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution. It is an AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
It has a 20-megapixel single front camera for snapping selfie portraits. At the rear lies a quad-rear camera setup with 108-megapixel primary lens, another 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro unit, and lastly a 2-megapixel depth-sensing lens. The primary lens has Optical Image Stabilization and 8K video recording support.
At the helm, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It houses a 4,780mAh battery with support for 33W wired, 30 wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging technology. According to Xiaomi, the phone will juice up from 0% to 100% in within an hour.
The phone also has vapor chamber liquid cooling technology for cooling down the device while intense gaming sessions. It has an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1 support. The phone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
In terms of the pricing, the Mi 10S starts at CNY 3,299($506) for the base 8GB/128GB variant, CNY 3,499(~$537) for the 8GB/256GB variant, and CNY 3,799(~$583) for the maxed out 12GB/256GB variant. It is currently on pre-orders in three standard colors – Black, White, and Blue.
