    Xiaomi Denies Rumors of Co-founder Bin Lin Retiring

    In response to a recent resignation by Bin Lin, the co-founder, vice chairman and president of the mobile phone department, Xiaomi have made a public announcement that the resignation is a business change, and retirement is purely unfounded speculation.

    According to the data from rumor website Tianyancha, since the beginning of the year, Bin Lin has successively stepped down as the legal representative of many companies under Xiaomi, including:-

    • Xiaomi Youpin Technology Co., Ltd
    • Beijing Xiaomi Electronic Products Co., Ltd
    • Shenzhen Xiaomi Information Technology Co., Ltd
    • Beijing Xiaomi Software. Technology Co., Ltd.

    All these continuous resignation have also triggered rumors of Bin Lin’s retirement. Xiaomi responded by saying that the resignation action is a change in industry and commerce. Retirement is purely speculation, and not accurate.
