Surprisingly, users in China weren’t too thrilled about the news. Most users simply asked for better optimizations for the existing MIUI 12. To this, Zhang Guoquan claimed that the update is mainly to appease Global Mi Fans, which is understandable.

At present, the Xiaomi 10 series and Redmi K30 Pro can already experience Android 11 Beta 1, though only developers are recommended to try it. The build is still fairly buggy and requires a lot more work, which makes sense considering it’s a beta.
