Vivo has launched yet another Exynos powered smartphone in China. The all-new Vivo Y51s smartphone is a 5G handset that comes with mid-range specs such as triple rear cameras, punch-hole display, and a 4,500mAh battery.
The Vivo Y51s comes in a sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at CNY 1,798(~$256). It has Blue, Black, and White color variants. It will go on sale starting July 29 in the country.
The Y51s features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a punch-hole display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels. There is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro unit. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera placed at the top left.
Under the hood, it powers the Samsung’s Exynos 880 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is an expandable memory as the device does get the microSD card slot. There is a 4,500mAh battery inside the device that comes with support for 18W fast charging support. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also has a software-based face unlock option for security. It boots the Android 10 OS with Vivo’s FunTouch on top of it.
