Vivo unveiled the Y50 smartphone last month for a price tag of ₹17,990(~$244) offering a punch-hole display, quadruple cameras, and a big battery. Now, just after a month of its launch, the device has received a price cut in the Indian market.
The Vivo Y50 is now priced at ₹16,990(~$231) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant which makes for ₹1,000(~$13) off from the original price tag of ₹17,990(~$244). It is available in Pearl White and Iris Blue color variants and can be purchased via Flipkart, Amazon, and other online/offline stores in the country.

Talking about its specs, the budget smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with a 5,000mAh battery. The battery is back up by the fast charging support and can be juiced via the USB Type-C port at present at the bottom. It has a dual-SIM slot and features a 6.53-inch iVision display with a Full-HD+ resolution.
There is a 13MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup and a single 16MP selfie camera setup. It is a 4G handset with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for software-based Face unlock. It boots on Android 10 and has FunTouchOS on top of it.
