Vivo’s X50 series is the company’s premium smartphone series for the year that comes with up to Snapdragon 865 SoC, 120Hz OLED display, and Gimbal-style stabilization support for the camera. Today, the company has introduced a new edition dubbed the Vivo X50 Pro+ Alexander Wang edition that comes with a fancy rear design made by the renowned fashion designer Wang himself.
The all-new Vivo X50 Pro+ Alexander Wang Edition comes in only a Black color option with the designer’s surname written on it. It is a limited edition model and only 1,000 units are available.
It is priced at CNY 5,998(~$878) for the sole 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and will go on sale from September 17 in China.

Even though it is a limited-edition special model, the specs of the device are the same as the regular X50 Pro+ smartphone. The device comes with a 6.56-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is a punch-hole display with curved edges and a negligible amount of bezels.
It has a unique rear camera setup place vertically featuring a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN1 primary lens that offers gimbal style stabilization in a hand-held video. It also has an ultra-wide camera, a periscope lens, and a portrait camera. At the front, it has the 32 Samsung selfie camera.
Under the roof, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It houses a 4,315mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 10 and has FunTouchOS on top of it.
