The Vivo V20 series comprising the Vivo V20, V20 SE, and V20 Pro was launched last month in China. Today, the company has launched the regular Vivo V20 smartphone at an event in India. The phone comes with an impressive 44MP selfie camera and packs a mid-range Snapdragon chipset.
The Vivo V20 starts at ₹24,990(~$340) for the base 6GB + 128GB variant and ₹27,990(~$382) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. It comes in three colorways – Moonlight Sonata, Midnight Jazz, and the fancy Sunset Melody(Gradient). The first sale is scheduled for October 20 via the Flipkart shopping portal.
The Vivo V20 sports a premium design that is made out of glass and has is super slim at 7.38mm. It has a 6.44-inch water-drop notch with an FHD+ resolution. It is an S-AMOLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It carries a whopping 44MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
Moving to the rear, the device has a triple rear camera array with a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, third 2MP mono unit. The camera comes with a special eye motion autofocus feature and has ultra-stable video stabilization and super night mode.
Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It withdraws power from the 4,000mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge support. It has a dual-SIM slot with 4G VoLTE support. It boots on Android 10 with Vivo’s FunTouchOS on top of it
