Vivo on Monday launched its new pair of truly wireless earbuds dubbed Vivo TWS Neo alongside the Vivo X50 series of smartphones. The earbuds are siblings to the Vivo TWS earphones that launched last year at CNY 999($141). As the name suggests, it is a Lite model that comes at a cheaper price of CNY 499($70) with some improvements here and there.
The Vivo TWS Neo comes with 14.2mm drivers with Qualcomm’s chip powering the buds. It features aptX and AAC audio codec which Vivo claims to provide CD-level sound quality. This pair of buds come with Bluetooth v5.2 which is an upgrade over the Bluetooth v5.0 on the last year’s original Vivo TWS.

Vivo markets the buds with its DeepXStereo modes that provide three different modes of tones for music listening. It has clear voice mode, bass-heavy mode, and high pitch mode. According to Vivo, all three modes provide a different and enhanced music experience depending on the users’ choice.
The TWS Neo also offers 5.5 hours of playback without the case and up to 27 hours with the charging case. It also comes with Vivo’s Jovi assistant that is limited to China as of now.

It bags a low latency mode with just 88ms delay that ensures a good video playback and gaming experience. It has two microphones and also has IP54 dust and water-resistance.
As said earlier, the TWS buds are priced at CNY 499($70) and are available in Moon White and Interstellar Blue finishes. The earphones are available in various stores in China.
