A bunch of smartphones in the Indian market are receiving price cuts lately. Some of the smartphones that were launched earlier this year got some price hike a few months back and now as we move ahead each month, these smartphones are getting price cuts, thanks to the competition. Just like that, the Vivo S1 Pro which was launched back in January in India has received a price cut of INR 1,000(~$13).
The Vivo S1 Pro debut pricing was INR 19,990(~$271) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Now, after the price cut, the device will go on sale for just INR 18,990(~$258). The device is now available in three colors – Jazzy Blue, Dreamy White, and Mystic Black. It can be purchased from Amazon and Flipkart shopping portals in the country.
Vivo S1 Pro Smartphone Specifications
The budget smartphone has a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a dew-drop notch panel that doubles up as an In-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, it fuels the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable via the microSD card slot which is fitted along with the dual-SIM slot. There is a 4,500mAh battery inside with support for Dual-Engine Fast charging technology.
It boasts a quad-rear camera array with 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel super-wide-angle sensor, a third 2-megapixel macro sensor, and the last 2-megapixel unit for depth sensing. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera that comes with several effects and modes including the Beauty mode.
The 4G smartphone has a USB Type-C port at the bottom for charging and data transfer and also features a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. It runs on Android 10 out of the box and has Vivo’s FunTouch OS on top of it. There is a built-in Dark mode on top of the Android’s original Dark layout.
