The vivo S6 5G Officially Breaks 1 Million Unit Sales

In 2020, when the overall market environment is complex, it is difficult for Chinese mobile phone brands to grow as fast as in the previous two years. That’s why it’s surprising that Vivo officials have now announced that the vivo s6 5G, which has been sold for only two months now, has successfully broken a million unit sales.

For those who might not remember, the vivo s6 5G is a smartphone released in April 2020 that came with the flagship Exynos 980 5G chip jointly developed by vivo and Samsung. The chip supports NSA&SA two networking methods, with a theoretical peak download speed of 3.55Gbps.

The device packs a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader embedded into the display. It comes running Android 10 out of the box, with memory options ranging all the way up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There’s a 32MP front camera, and a quad camera on the rear made up of 48MP, one 8MP and two 2MP modules.

Keeping the device running is a decently sized 4,390 mAh battery, which will draw power through a USB-C port. It’s interesting to see how the Chinese smartphone market continues to grow despite the multiple setbacks.
