TCL Announces 30Hz to 120Hz Refresh Rate Variable Panels For Upcoming Chinese Smartphones

    Since 2019, smartphone displays have been a thing to consider while buying a new smartphone. The high refresh rates and touch sampling rate has become contrary to that of the thin bezels and great hardware. It is the need of the hour and especially for Android devices as the competition seems to go up till 144Hz crazy refresh rates. Now, TCL has partnered with HuaXing in manufacturing some variable refresh rate displays for some upcoming Chinese smartphones.

    The variable refresh rate is expected to be in the upcoming flagship Galaxy devices but the device is yet to arrive. However, the new TCL displays are announced and will surely catch your eyeballs.

    The Dynamic displays were showcased in the country and the images outed online, make it seems exceptional. The following image shows the 6.53-inch FHD+(2340×1080 pixels) display that has 500 nits of peak brightness. It can go from 30Hz ultra-low frequency to a 120Hz high refresh rate. Moreover, the touch sampling rate is variable from 120Hz to 240Hz.

    TCL is said to mass-produce these panels soon and will be seen in some upcoming Chinese smartphones. Other than this, the company has also started the mass production of 144Hz panels which we saw in some Nubia gaming handsets.
