Sony Xperia 5 II is the next premium Sony smartphone and before it officially breaks the cover on September 17 a popular tipster has already taken wraps off its specs and design.
Thanks to the popular tipster Evan Blass who shared the Xperia 5 II promo video revealing most of the details. It is a long 3-minute long video that confirmes the real-design topping the leaked renders. The smartphone has a taller screen similar to all the Xperia devices. Its highlighting feature is the 120Hz refresh rate screen which also has a 240Hz response rate. It is an OLED panel with better color reproduction.
It has Dolby Atmos sound with 360-degree Reality Audio. It also has LDAC support and also features a 3.5mm headphone support for wired listening. It is a 5G smartphone featuring a triple rear camera with a setup which is led by a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto unit. It has improved low-light capabilities over the predecessor and can shoot 4K videos at up to 120 frames per second.
The Xperia 5 II powers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and packs a 4,o00mAh battery. It will support Sony’s DualShock controller for the enhanced gaming experience.
With all these details unwrapped, now the only thing we are excited about is the pricing and availability.
