Sony on Thursday launched the Xperia 5 II smartphone in the US and it comes with a 120Hz high refresh rate panel, flagship chipset, and triple rear cameras. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a successor of the original Sony Compact series phones and comes at a price tag of $950.
The Sony Xperia 5 II is available in a single Black color variant and will go on pre-orders starting September 29 in the United States. Interestingly, those who purchase the phone before November 29 will get a special edition bundle that will have a free Power Bank, Gaming Headset, and over 21,600 Call of Duty points.
It will available in an unlocked version from carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket, and AT&T.

The Xperia 5 II sports a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of Full-HD+. It is an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR support. The display has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It has a 12MP + 12MP + 12MP triple rear camera setup and a single camera setup at the front. The rear camera can capture ultra-wide shots and some telephoto images. It can record 4K HDR videos at 120 frames per second.
At the helm, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 5G smartphone also has a microSD card slot additional storage. It is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. It retains the 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Android 10 out of the box.
