Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A42 5G which is said to be its cheapest 5G handset in the market. It is also the first handset to come with 5G connectivity in the A4X lineup.
The pricing of the 5G handset will be revealed later as for now the company has just sent out press releases. It comes in a Black color variant featuring the standard Samsung design.

It sports a mammoth 6.6-inch Infinity-U display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is an AMOLED panel that doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device has a quad-rear camera array and a single front camera for selfies.
The company hasn’t revealed many details but the device was in the leak spree for a while now. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset. It is a new budget SoC which will be seen in some budget 5G devices. It packs a big 5,000mAh battery with fast charging technology.
