Samsung took wraps off the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 this week and not it is ready to toss it in the Chinese market. Samsung has shared the official launch date of the foldable phone in China.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 will land on September 9 in the country and is expected to cost about the same as the global pricing. For reference, it is launched for $1,999, with that said, expect the price to be around CNY 13,700 in the region.
The foldable phone comes with full-fledged 5G capabilities featuring a 7.6-inch primary internal display and a 6.2-inch secondary external display. It has a triple rear camera setup with 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel secondary ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel telephone camera. It has a 10-megapixel camera inside for selfies.
The smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging technology, 11W wireless fast charging support, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging technology.
It has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and features stereo speakers. The foldable phone runs on Android 10 and has OneUI on top of it. The device came in a new Mystic Bronze color variant and it is said to also be available in China.
