Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 2 a day back in the Chinese market and a week back in the United States. Now, the foldable smartphone has landed the Indian region for a surprisingly cheaper price than the original Galaxy Fold.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 comes in only the sole 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant priced at INR 1,49,999(~$2,039). In comparison to the original Galaxy Fold which came at INR 1,64,999(~$2,243), the Fold 2 is significantly cheaper. The Indian variant does not get the special Thom Browne Edition that comes with a special paint job.

In terms of the colorways, there are two options to choose from – Mystic Black and the new Mystic Bronze. The foldable device will be available in the retail stores starting September 14 in the country.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a 7.6-inch display when unfolded and a 6.2-inch panel when folded. The screen has a 2213 x 1689 pixel resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 10MP selfie camera placed in the punch-hole cut-out. There is a triple rear camera setup at the rear with a 12MP main sensor, 12MP telephoto camera, and a third 12MP ultra-wide lens. Fueling the internals, there’s the Snapdragon 865+ which draws juice from the 4,500mAh battery that has a 25W fast charging support.
