Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5G with better hardware, new colors, and most importantly the 5G support. The smartphone is not called as the successor of the Galaxy Z Flip 4G as it just brings some internal changes, but it can be called as an improved version of the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED primary display narrow bezels and FHD+ resolution. It has a small 1.1-inch secondary display which is also an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 112×300 pixels. It equips a 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel rear camera setup that has the main sensor and an ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 10-megapixel camera inside that will act as a selfie lens.

It has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor which an upgrade from the Snapdragon 855+ found on the Galaxy Flip 4G. It packs a 3,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The smartphone is bundled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is a 5G handset that also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and NFC support.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is priced at $1,449(CNY 12,499) for the sole variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It will go on sale starting August 7 in two new colors – Mystic Bronze and Mystic Gray. It will be available in the US through carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T or it can be purchased via Amazon.com, Samsung.com, and Best Buy.
