After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, the market was flooded with several Galaxy S20 devices such as the S20, S20+, and S20 ultra. Now, to add more, Samsung seems to be planning for the Lite version of the S20 series. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite has just appeared on the GeekBench portal revealing a major highlight.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite has made its way on GeekBench 5 with model number SM-G781B. It runs on Android 10 and is expected to get the custom One UI skin on the top.
It has a ‘Kona’ board and surprisingly has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core SoC. This was expected considering that the Galaxy S10 Lite that launched last year also had the Snapdragon SoC. The listing reveals a 6GB variant and it is said to be the base variant of the smartphone.
The device managed to score 737 single-core scores and 2619 multi-core scores. These are similar to that of the other Galaxy S20 siblings. Other than this, there is nothing to address, but it is great to learn that Samsung is already planning for the Lite variant. We just hope that it makes the way in most of the major markets including India and China.
