Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Unveiled With Six Colors and Fresh Internals Starting at $699

    After months of rumors and certifications, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is finally official. Samsung has used some S20 series formula and tweaked it to a fresh Fan Edition device that comes with flagship internals at affordable pricing.

    The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G will start at EUR 669/EUR649 in the European region and the 5G version will cost EUR 769/749. In the US, the sole 5G version is priced at $699 and it will retail for £599 for 4G and £699 for the 5G in the UK.

    The above pricing is for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. Interestingly, some European markets will get the 256GB 4G version for EUR 719 and 256GB 5G version for EUR 819. It comes in six alluring colors – Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Red, Cloud Orange, and the Cloud White. The phone is already up for pre-orders and will go on sale starting October 2.

    Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a simple and stylus Fan Edition device just like the fast FE devices from the company. It comes with a flat display, clean design, and triple rear cameras. Orating about its exact specs, the phone packs a 6.5-inch punch-hole OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It is a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and thin bezels.

    At the helm, it powers the same Exynos 990 SoC for the 4G version and Snapdragon 865 for the 5G version. The smartphone has 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It is backed up by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging support.

    It boasts a 12MP + 12MP + 8MP triple rear camera setup out of which the second lens is a 123-degree ultra-wide sensor, and the last sensor is a telephoto camera. It comes with a 30x space zoom and a 3x optical zoom. There is a 32MP front camera for selfie shots at an aperture of f/2.2.

    It has IP68 water and dust resistance rating and comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It runs on Android 10 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI on top of it. Samsung promises a 3-year Android upgrade for the phone.
