Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series earlier this year with the latest Exynos and Snapdragon chipset at a premium price. Samsung has also planned a few premium smartphone launches in the next couple of months that includes the Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Fold 2. Now, reportedly, Samsung will launch a new smartphone called ‘Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition’ soon at a budget price.
To recall, a news outbreak about the Lite variant of the Galaxy S20 was tipped. Rumors were all over it, but soon leaks started to slow down until it vanished completely. Now, a report from news suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite version will be called the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. It is also said to arrive at a cheaper price this year in October.
Samsung is touted to be manufacturing a new Galaxy S20 model ‘SM-G780’. Additionally, there will be another model ‘SM-G781’. It is said that the SM-G780 will be the global version and the SM-G781 will be the US version of the Samsung Galaxy Fan Edition. We expect the global variant to debut with Exynos chipset and the US variant with Snapdragon chipset.
Other than this, it is also tipped that it will start with a base 128GB storage variant running OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10. It will arrive in 5G and 4G variants for the world and the US will get a 5G-only variant.
