Samsung launched the Galaxy M01 smartphone a few weeks back with a dual-camera setup and a decent battery. Now, it seems like Samsung has already prepared something to succeed. A new leak reveals the Samsung Galaxy M01s which will be another addition to the entry-level M-series of smartphones. The device has now been certified on TUV Rheinland that affirms the battery capacity of the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy M01s appears with model number SM-M017F/DS that houses a 3,900mAh battery. The newly launched Galaxy M01 has the same 4,000mAh battery capacity and considering that we expect the M01s will have some other improvements rather than the battery.
The certification doesn’t tip anything else, but some of its specs are out of the wraps, thanks to the Geekbench and BIS certifications. It is said to sport the same screen as the original M01. Additionally, it will get MediaTek Helio P22 SoC instead of a Snapdragon SoC as seen on the M01.
It will come in a 3GB RAM variant running Android 9. The M01 came with Android 10, so we expect the M01s to debut with the same once it’s out for sale. Other than this, the budget smartphone is expected to come under ₹10,000(~$132) in the Indian market available in offline and online stores.
