Since the last few months, the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core smartphone was wandering in the rumor mill, and finally, today, it has gone official in India. The all-new Galaxy M01 Core smartphone is a super-budget Android Go edition smartphone that comes at under $90.
The Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is a compact device that sports a 5.3-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of HD+. It does have a noticeable amount of bezels but has the modern 18:9 aspect ratio. The top bezel holds the 5-megapixel front-facing camera, earpiece, and sensors.
It has a single rear camera setup with an LED flash below the lens. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6739 SoC that is clocked at 1.5Ghz and paired with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of ROM. It has a 3,000mAh battery without fast charging support and it can be juiced up via the MicroUSB port. It runs on Android Go based on Android 10.
The smartphone comes in two variants – the 1GB RAM + 16GB storage priced at ₹5,499(~$73) and 2GB RAM + 32GB storage for ₹6,499(~$87). It will go on sale in three color variants – Black, Red, and Blue on July 29.
