Starting June 19, people in the US can purchase the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G from T-Mobile and Sprint. Samsung claims that the Galaxy A71 will be available on Verizon and AT&T later this summer, and will be unlocked through retail channels such as Samsung.com’s official website for $599.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, like most of the Galaxy A series, is essentially a mid-range smartphone that sits right under the flagships in terms of features and specs. It’s also the first smartphone in the United States to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.
The Snapdragon 765G SoC is accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is unfortunately not expandable. There’s also a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on-board, with a 32MP selfie camera in the hole punch camera at the top.
On the back we have a quad camera setup, with a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. Keeping everything running is a 4,500 mAh battery, and it runs Android 10 right out of the box.
