Samsung Galaxy A42 5G was silently announced with a press release and only a few key details were revealed. The press release revealed a Black color variant of the phone but now, the phone has been listed in new colors.
According to a listing, the Galaxy A42 5G has a White and Gray sort of finish. This makes it to be available in a total of three colors – White, Gray, and Black. Interestingly, there is the same unique rear-tone design on the back of the new colors as seen in the Black color earlier.

Other specs were learned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G sports a 6.6-inch water-drop notch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is an AMOLED panel with narrow bezels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display doubles up as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It has a quad-rear camera setup with 48-megapixel primary lens, another 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a third 5-megapixel macro camera, and the last depth sensor. There is a single 20-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and has 6gigs of RAM. For those who are unaware, the Snapdragon 750G is a new chipset and very few phones are powering it. In terms of the battery, the 5G handset is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery that has fast charging support.
