Just a few months back, Samsung launched the Galaxy A01 entry-level smartphone in some markets with Android 10 Go software and a compact 5.3-inch HD+ display. Now, its successor seems to be already on the charts as it has now been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking portal.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 comes with a model number SM-A015F and the new listing reveals a Samsung device with model number SM-A025F. It is said to be none other than the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A02 Android Go Edition smartphone.

The listing reveals that the phone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at a base frequency of 1.80GHz. The current Galaxy A01 has the Snapdragon 439 chipset and the new chipset in the successor will surely bring some boost. It will be paired with 2GB of RAM and the storage is expected to be 32GB.
Other than this, the phone runs on Android 10 OS which we expect will be the Android Go Edition software. The device has scored 757 single-core points and 3904 multi-core points on the Geekbench 4.
Samsung is yet to break the silence about the new entry-level smartphone but considering these are just initial certifications, the phone seems to have a long time to arrive.
