    Redmi Smart TV X 55-inch and 65-inch Officially Go On Sale

    Redmi‘s new line of Redmi Smart TV X televisions have officially gone on sale on e-commerce platforms such as Xiaomi Mall and JD.com. Of the two new TVs, the 65-inch version is priced at 2,999 yuan ($424), and the 55-inch version is priced at 1,699 yuan ($240), which isn’t too bad for the features on display.

    Unlike Xiaomi’s high end televisions, Redmi’s Smart TV X series is positioned as a light flagship smart TV for young people. It uses a metal frame and a minimalist full-screen design, with a 97% screen-to-body ratio, giving an very clean and modern look.

    The Redmi Smart TV X uses a 2GB+32GB storage pairing and supports Dolby audio. The whole system is equipped with MEMC motion compensation technology + 60Hz intelligent algorithm compensation, for a great viewing experience.

    There’s an 8-unit subwoofer audio system, and it can hear people from up to 10 meters away. It has support for four of China’s major video platforms, and can link with 2000+ different devices. It also has a built in XiaoAI voice assistant, which should be fairly convenient.
