Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphones were launched in the first quarter of 2020 in the Indian market. The duo arrived in multiple colors such as Interstellar Black, Aurora Blue, and Glacier White finish. Now, the company has tossed a new Champagne Gold color variant that has the Matte Gold finish with Gold-colored sides.
The new color variant comes after six months of the original debut of the smartphones and is priced the same as the other colorways. The Redmi Note 9 Pro will cost you INR 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and Note 9 Pro Max is priced at INR 16,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.

Both the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. There is a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup on the Pro model and a 64MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup on the Pro Max. There is a 16MP selfie on the Pro, whereas, a 32MP selfie camera on the Pro Max.
Under the hood, the duo is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with a 5,020mAh battery. There is an 18W fast charging support on the Pro and a faster 33W fash charging technology on the Pro Max.
