Redmi Note 9 5G Series Will Start at 1000 Yuan($151) With These Specs

Redmi Note 9 5G series has been quite frequent in the rumor mill lately, just last week we learned some of its specifications and now, the pricing of the phones has been tipped.

A Weibo post shared by Abhishek Yadav reveals the pricing of the Redmi Note 9 to be 1000 yuan(~$151) and Redmi Note 9 Pro’s pricing to be 1500 yuan(~$227). The series is expected to launch next month with full-fledged 5G capability.

Additionally, the phone was also slated to arrive by the end of this year according to a document spotted online. As far as the company is concerned, Redmi has already started teasing the series which could mean that the launch is sooner than we expect.

If we talk about the specifications, the Redmi Note 9 is expected to sport a 6.53-inch LCD display with a high refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The Pro model will pack a larger 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution. There will be 48MP triple rear cameras on the vanilla model and whopping 108MP Samsung HM2 quad-rear cameras on the Pro model.

Under the hood, the Note 9 will power the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC and the Note 9 Pro will fuel the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. There will be a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support on the vanilla and a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging support on the Pro model.

Take the above specs with a grain of salt as these are just some leaked and spotted specifications. We’ll update more on the phones when they are officially teased, until then, we have to look forward to the leaks.
