Xiaomi will take wraps off its upcoming Redmi K40 series on February 25 in the Chinese market. The series comprises two devices, the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. Redmi held reservations for both the phones on February 19 on the JD.com shopping portal to learn about its market acceptance. Today, the company has revealed it has received over 230,000 reservations for the smartphone series.
These numbers themselves say that just like every Redmi K-series phone, the K40 series devices are also popular even before the launch. Well, the reservation numbers are quite good but are not as good as the previous K30 series reservations. Anyways, it is evident that the series will be a big hit in the Chinese market considering its leaked specs. The phones may also land in other markets including India and Europe sometime later this year.
