    Redmi K30 smartphone series has been quite popular in no time due to its value for the money price tag. Now, just a few months after the unveiling, we have a new leak for its successor Redmi K40. The new leak shows some connectivity details of the smartphone including some hardware bits. Let’s take a look at the full story.

    Earlier, a smartphone emerged the Chinese 3C listing that showcased a device with model number ‘Xiaomi M2006J10C’. It was believed to be the successor of the vanilla Redmi K30 allegedly called Redmi K40. In the same leak, we learned that the K40 will arrive with a 33W fast charger inside the retail box. For those who don’t know, the Redmi K30 Pro also ships with the same charger.

    Following the leak, now, we have a look at the documentation by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT) that suggests the device to get full-fledged 5G connectivity.

    Moreover, Redmi K40 will use a Snapdragon 700 series chipset just like the Redmi K30. The Redmi K30 powers the Snapdragon 730G SoC, and rumors have that the upcoming Redmi K40 will board the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 775 SoC.

    The following details perorate that Xiaomi is definitely working on the upcoming Redmi K40 and K40 Pro. Even Though we see a certain amount of leaks, the launch is still far away. In the meantime, we can just wait for more leaks to surface.
