Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 10T smartphone under the Mi 10 series with flagship-grade specs at aggressive pricing. Later, there were rumors that the company will soon launch the Mi 10T as Redmi K30S in China. Now, the phone’s specs sheet has been outed giving us a look at its key highlights.
The Redmi K30S was earlier spotted with model number M2007J3SC and the fresh specs sheet has the same model number. The Redmi K30S with the following model number sports a 6.67-inch LTPS display with a resolution of Full-HD+(2400 x 1080). It will have the following dimensions – 165.1 x 76.4 x 9.33 mm.
The device will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with either 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM. It will be a 5G handset running on Android 10 out of the box. In terms of the cameras, the phone will feature a triple rear camera array. The setup will be led by a 64-megapixel primary lens, another 20-megapixel secondary lens, and a third 8-megapixel sensor. This is a bit different from the Mi 10T as it has a 13-megapixel secondary lens but here the specs sheet shows 20-megapixel secondary unit for Redmi’s K30S.
The cameras on the K30S seem to slightly differ from the Mi 10T but do note that this will be the vanilla phone in the series. Some leaks in the past revealed that the upper model, the Redmi K30S Pro will get a 108-megapixel primary lens instead of a 64-megapixel.
Other than this, the phones will pack a high 144Hz refresh rate panel similar to the Mi 10T series. Past TENAA listing revealed a 4,900mAh cell in the Redmi K30S Pro which will translate to 5,000 typical capacity. We expect to see some sort of fast charging support with the fast charger included in the box.
The series is expected to start at a cheaper CNY 2,500(~$373) price and will arrive in eight color variants – Black, Blue, Red, Green, Gray, White, Pink, and Purple.
