    Redmi G Gaming Laptop Unveiled With Up To Intel Core i7 CPU and GTX 1650 Ti GPU; Starts at CNY 5,299(~$763)

    Xiaomi’s Redmi has finally entered the gaming segment and launched its first-ever gaming laptop dubbed Redmi G at an event in China. The all-new Redmi G Gaming laptop comes with high-end internals featuring a 144Hz refresh rate display at affordable pricing.

    The Redmi G Gaming Notebook comes in three variants, the base variant will cost you CNY 5,299(~$763), mid-variant will cost you 6,299(~$907), and the top variant is priced at CNY 6,999(~$1,007). It will be available via Giztop and other stores from August 17 in the country.

    Redmi G Gaming Laptop Specifications and Features

    The Redmi G gaming laptop comes in three configurations that have different CPUs and GPUs. The trio features a 16.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is a 144Hz refresh rate screen that has 300 nits of brightness and 100 percent sRGB color gamut. It has thin upper and side rims with a total screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent.

    The base variant packs an Intel i5-10200H CPU that comes with 8MB cache and a base frequency of 2.4GHz. It has an NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 Graphics paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe x 4 NVMe SSD.

    The mid variant comes with an Intel i5-10300H CPU that comes with an 8MB cache and a base frequency of 2.5GHz. It has an NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Graphics paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe x 4 NVMe SSD.

    The top variant comes with an Intel i7-10750H CPU that comes with a 12MB cache and a base frequency of 2.6GHz. It also has an NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Graphics paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe x 4 NVMe SSD.

    It has a custom cooling system which is called the Hurricane Cooling 2.0. It works with the help of dual fans and copper pipes. It has a 55Whr battery that is said to last for long hours. There is a full-sized keyboard on all the three laptops and boasts a DTS:X Ultra 3D Sound technology. It boots Windows 10 Home operating system and has some pre-installed applications.
