Redmi Earbuds S launched in India for INR 1,799 ($24)

TWS earphones have been all the rage lately, and Xiaomi are once again at the forefront with the Indian launch of the Redmi Earbuds S. The Earbuds S are a rebranded version of the AirDots S, but that’s fine since they keep the unique design and good sound quality for a low price.

The Redmi Earbuds S comes in a pill-shaped case, thankfully choosing to ditch the boring AirPods-inspired designs that plague the TWS market. Even the earbuds get rid off the AirPods’ stems for a much more clean, unique and professional look, which is excellent.

    Redmi Earbuds S features

Both earbuds feature a 43mAh battery inside, with a 300mAh battery inside the case. Each earbud can last for up to 4 hours of music playback, while the case triples this to 12 hours. There’s aso IPX4 splash resistance, Bluetooth 5.0 and a 122ms low-latency gaming mode. It’s important to note that the IPX4 splash resistance only applies to the earbuds, not the case.

The Redmi Earbuds S will go sale in India tomorrow at 12pm. They’re available for purchase at Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studio outlets exclusively in matte black, and they cost INR 1,799 (~$24). For more news on new TWS earphones and Redmi gadgets, stay tuned on Giztop.com.
