Redmi 9A With Helio G25 Lands In India For INR 6,799($93)

    Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Prime a few weeks back in the Indian market and today, much cheaper sibling, the Redmi 9A has debuted in the country. The smartphone comes with Helio G25 SoC and packs a massive 5,000mAh battery.

    The Redmi 9A starts at INR 6,799(~$93) for the 2GB + 32GB variant and INR 7,499(~$103) for the 3GB + 32GB variant. It comes in Nature Green, Midnight Black, and Sea Blue colors variants. It will go on sale starting September 4 at 12 noon.

    Redmi 9A Smartphone Specifications

    The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution. It is a Dot notch panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front notch carries the 5-megapixel selfie camera and there is a single 13-megapixel single rear camera.

    It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 SoC coupled with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via the provided microSD card slot. It is a dual-SIM smartphone housing a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed.

    It is a 4G handset with dual-SIM slots. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack for music sessions and a Micro-USB port for charging and data transfer. It boots on Android 10 and has MIUI 12 out of the box.
