Just last week, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 smartphone in Spain that came with great budget internals and features. Now, everyone is looking up to the other siblings in the series namely the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C. Today, the super-budget Redmi 9A has been spotted on FCC certifications with some of its details.
The FCC documentation confirms the battery and software information of the smartphone. It reveals that the device will house a 4,900mAh battery with 10W standard charging speed. It also lists the device running MIUI 12 evidently on Android 10.
Aside from this, the sketch from the certification showcases the rear panel of the device. It reveals the presence of a vertical camera module at the top and Redmi branding at the bottom.
That’s what we learn from the listing but considering the documentation, the launch seems imminent. While it arrives, let’s take a look at some of its rumored and expected specifications.
Redmi 9A Rumored Specifications And Pricing
According to a tipster, the budget smartphone will rock a 6.53-inch display with an HD+ resolution. It will be an IPS LCD panel with a notch at the top. In terms of the cameras, it is rumored to feature a 13-megapixel single rear camera with a single-tone LED flash. At the front, it is said to feature a 5-megapixel secondary lens.
Inside, the Smartphone will power MediaTek SoC instead of Snapdragon as seen in its predecessor Redmi 8A. It will get the Helio G25 SoC and is expected to ship in 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage.
The smartphone was tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery with standard charging speed. Now, it has been reaffirmed by the FCC documentation of the smartphone. It is also said to feature a capacitive fingerprint scanner at the rear. It will run on MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
Moreover, the tipster suggested that the device will debut at EUR 100(~$113) making it the cheapset upcoming Redmi device.
