Xiaomi has already launched the Redmi 9 budget smartphone in the Malaysian market and now, Xiaomi seems to bring the other two devices in the series. A new poster shared on the Xiaomi Malaysia Facebook page reveals the launch date and some highlights of the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C smartphones.
According to the poster, the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C entry-level phones will debut on June 30 in Malaysia. The image also gives some bits about the smartphone’s highlights revealing a bigger battery and big display. It also shows the waterdrop notch display that will be featured in both the devices.
That’s what the leak reveals, but launch being just tomorrow, we don’t have to wait for long. None the less, we do know some of its rumored specifications, thanks to tipsters.
Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C Rumored Specifications
The Redmi 9A is said to be the cheapest Redmi device succeeding in the Redmi 8A that launched last year. It is said to sport a 6.53-inch water-drop notch display with a resolution of HD+. It will feature a 13-megapixel single-rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.
It was spotted on listings with MediaTek Helio G25 SoC paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is expected to house a massive 5,000mAh battery without any sort of fast charging support. It is also said to feature a capacitive fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi 9C is touted to come in two variants – NFC and non-NFC variant. The device is expected to feature the same 6.53-inch HD+ display. The non-NFC variant is tipped to get triple rear cameras, whereas, the NFC variant will bag dual-rear cameras.
It is said to power the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. Just like the 9A, the 9C will also house a 5,000mAh battery and a capacitive fingerprint scanner.
