Xiaomi has officially launched the all-new Redmi 9 smartphone in the Indian market. The Redmi 9 Indian variant is nothing but the Redmi 9C Global variant with a bit different cameras. The device comes with the same Helio G35 SoC but has dual rear cameras and comes at super affordable pricing.
The Redmi 9 starts at ₹8,999(~$121) for the 4GB + 64GB variant and ₹9,999(~$135) for the 4GB + 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes in the same colorways as the global variant but has different names – Sky Blue, Sporty Orange, and Carbon Black.

Redmi 9 Smartphone Specifications
The Redmi 9 comes with a 6.53-inch Dot notch display with an HD+ resolution. It is an LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. has a dual rear camera setup housed in a square-shaped module. The module holds a 13-megapixel primary camera and another 2-megapixel secondary camera. Xiaomi calls the third one a depth sensor without counting it as a camera. At the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel single camera for selfie portraits.
It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. There is a memory expansion slot fitted withthe dual-SIM slots. It houses a massive 5,000mAh battery that comes with 10W fast charging technology. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and boots on Android 10 out of the box.
