Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi 10X 5G smartphone back in May this year. The phone comes with a powerful mid-range processor, a big battery, and fast charging support at an affordable price. Now, after a couple of months, the price of the 5G version has been slashed in its hometown China.
The Redmi 10X 5G started at CNY 1,799(~$270) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, CNY 2,099(~$315) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and CNY 2,399(~$360) for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant.
Now with the new price cut, the device starts ar CNY 1,499(~$225) for the base variant. It will cost you CNY 1,799(~$270) for the mid-variant, and CNY 1,999(~$300) is what you need to pay for the top variant. On the Giztop store, the phone is on sale in multiple colors including the White, Gold, Blue, and Purple with International shipping.
The Redmi 10X 5G fuels the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC which enables the phone to support 5G connectivity. It sports a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ resolution and standard 60Hz screen refresh rate. There is a triple camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary lens, another 8MP secondary camera, and a third 2MP macro unit. At the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera lens.
In terms of the battery, the device packs a 4,520mAh battery with support for 22W fast charging technology. The smartphone has dual 5G standby with intelligent switching to any of the better network. It boots on Android 10 out of the box and has MIUI on top of it.
