Last year, Xiaomi launched quite a few 5G smartphones in the budget segment catering to its hometown China. The company also tossed a few 4G handsets in the region and the Redmi 10X 4G is one of them. The device was launched running Android 10 out of the box with a promise of future Android updates. Now, finally, the device has started receiving the Android 11 update.
The Redmi 10X 4G’s Android 11 build number is V220.127.116.11.RJOCNXM. The update brings stability and all the new features such as chat bubbles, enhanced security, media controls, and more.
With that said, the Redmi Note 9 which is the global version of the Redmi 10X is also expected to get the Android 11 update soon. On top of the Android version, the aforementioned devices will run on the latest MIUI 12.5.
Redmi 10X 4G Specifications
The Redmi 10X 4G was launched back in May last fueling MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 83.5%.
It has a quad-rear camera system with 48-megapixel primary cameras, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth shots. It features a 13-megapixel front camera for selfie shots.
It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Housing a 5,020mAh battery, the smartphone has 18W fast charging support and also got 9W reverse charging support.
