Realme will be announcing its brand-new V-series in China and the first smartphone will be the Realme V5. The smartphone is said to go on sale on August 3 in China and now ahead of its launch, the smartphone’s high-resolution official renders are outed.
The official renders come from PlayfulDroid, it reveals the three colorways of the smartphone and reaffirms the design. The new Realme V5 will debut in Silver, Green, and Blue color variants.
Previously, we have only seen the device in the Silver color variant and it has the huge Realme branding at the rear. Interestingly, the other two color variants, the Green and Blue don’t have the huge Realme branding.
It seems that the Silver color is a special edition color and hence it was first leaked. Other than this, the smartphone’s design is reaffirmed showcasing the large 6.5-inch punch-hole display. It will be an LCD panel with almost no bezels on three sides but there is a bit thicker bottom chin. The rear panel showcases the 48-megapixel triple rear camera placed in a vertical camera module.
Some of the internals were leaked thanks to Tmall listing. The smartphone will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will pack a large battery with some sort of fast charging support. It will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run on the latest Android 10 OS.
