Realme on Thursday launched the all-new Realme Q3i 5G smartphone in the origin market, China. The smartphone comes under the Q-series and is one of the cheapest 5G smartphones in China. Some of its highlights are triple-rear cameras, punch-hole display, and a MediaTek chipset.

Coming at an affordable starting price of CNY 1,099(~$169), it is going to compete with 5G phones from the likes of Xiaomi, Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, and other Chinese manufacturers. The aforementioned price was for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the 6GB variant with the same storage will cost you CNY 1,199(~$185).
Interestingly, the company is offering CNY 100 discount if fans buy it in the first sale. Instead of the ~$169 pricing, the phone will be available for CNY 999(~$153) which is a jaw-dropping price for a 5G smartphone.
Specifications and Highlights
Coming to the specifications, the Realme Q3i 5G will come with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with a Full-HD+ panel. It is an LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a single 16MP selfie camera at the front and sports a triple-rear camera setup. The rear camera is led by a 48MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors for portrait and macro shots.
Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It also has the support for Dynamic RAM Expansion that allows a 6GB RAM to work like a higher GB RAM unit.
The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging technology. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also supports face unlock.
The Realme Q3i 5G comes in two color options – Particle Ash and Light Blue.
