Realme C11 has been in the rumor mill for a while, it appeared on several listings, popped online in renders, and the official teaser poster was also shared. Now, Realme has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Realme C11 budget smartphone. As we learned earlier, the smartphone was first tipped to debut in the Malaysian market. The Malaysian Realme Facebook page has now confirmed the launch to occur this month itself.
According to the post, the Realme C11 will debut on June 30 at 11 AM local time in Malaysia. Realme also confirms that the launch will be held in an online Livestream on the Facebook page itself. Additionally, the teaser poster flaunts the smartphone’s front design and also reaffirms some of its internals.
By this time we all know that Realme is gearing for an entry-level device with a new chipset. As rumored, the post on Facebook reaffirms the chipset on the smartphone. It will power the yet to be announced MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which will be first in any smartphone in the market. It will be the world’s first device to power the chipset.
The Helio G35 is an octa-core chipset based on a 12nm processor clocked at up to 2.3GHZ. Some previous leaks suggested that it will be paired with a base 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It will house a massive 5,000mAh battery without any sort of fast charging support.
In terms of cameras, there will be a unique module that has never been seen in any Realme device. At a glance, it seems like the latest Pixel-like design with two lenses. It will come with a single-camera setup at the front for selfies. The device will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a modern aspect ratio. It will be a dew-drop notch panel with thin bezels except for the bottom.
The smartphone will run on Andriod 10 out of the box with Realme UI on top of it. Judging by the poster, the smartphone is expected to arrive in two color variants – Gray and Green.
