We’re expecting to see Realme launch a slew of new products on May 25, including a new pair of earphones. However, it seems that the design and specifications of the upcoming Realme Buds Air Neo have leaked out ahead of time, courtesy of 91mobiles.
The design is essentially the exact same as the already available Realme Buds Air but in generic white or black. There’s a microUSB charging port, which is a shame, but at least they offer a fairly long 17 hours of music playback on a single charge. There’s also no wireless charging, which is a bummer.

When it comes to specs, the Realme Buds Air Neo feature 13mm audio drivers, the same customized R1 chip as the Realme Buds Air and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. There’s also a Realme Gaming Mode for lower latency on audio.
We’re hoping some of the cut features will make way for a cheaper price tag on these. The Realme Buds Air are already fairly competitively priced as is, but hitting an even lower price point would be quite impressive. I’d still prefer to see better features personally, especially a USB-C slot considering it’s 2020.
We’ll be on the constant look out for more Realme leaks before the May 25, since we’re sure there will be a lot more before then. In the meantime, stay tuned on Giztop.com for all your Chinese tech news.
